Drakensberg Boys Choir, in collaboration with Michaelhouse Chapel Choir, Clifton Nottingham Road, PMB Girls High Chamber Choir, and Marimba Group, Music Voyage, recently held a fundraiser to raise funds for vocally talented, but in-need, boys to attend Drakensberg Boys Choir School in the future. Seen here are the choirs, celebrating community spirit or Ubuntu, singing the massed piece “Jikela Ngapha”, at the Michaelhouse Schlesinger Theatre. The song is a traditional Zulu song, arranged by DBCS Artistic Director, Bernard Kruger.
