Boarding
Boarding is preferred, though day scholars are allowed, on condition that the full daily programme, similar to boarders, is undertaken.
There are two boarding houses on campus. Boys in Grades 4, 5 and 6 reside in Tungay House while Grades 7, 8 and 9 boys are accommodated in Griffin House. There are two main dormitories in Tungay House in which each boy has his own cubicle. Two boys share a room in Griffin House.
A team of dedicated, full-time House parents and assistant housemasters in each of the two Houses take care of the well-being of the boarders. A qualified nursing sister attends to the health needs of the boys.
The boarding establishment consists of a fully equipped kitchen and dining room which, under the supervision of a dietitian, provides well-balanced meals three times per day and tea/juice plus a snack/fruit twice a day. The facility also includes a sanatorium, laundry and two recreation rooms, one for Grades 4, 5 and 6 and the other for Grades 7, 8 and 9.
We strive towards a stimulating and safe environment where learners develop strong bonds of friendship with their peers. Strong emphasis is placed on discipline within a Christian ethos and it is expected of every boy to live according to a strong value system.
