Although we are in a boarding environment, exams do cause unnecessary stress levels to rise (for all parties). Over and above this, the preparations for the rugby test performance, Japan and the normal humdrum matters of school life really add up. I have included some tips for parents below which don’t necessary pertain to boys in boarding but are relevant nonetheless.
This is the first edition of the Take Note since the MiMs weekend. Although I have sent thank you letters to all the respective role players, I would once again like to thank you all for your support and hard work during the festival. I can comfortably say that it was a resounding success in all departments. Well done and thank you once again.
I would like to welcome you all to the Freedom Day weekend in the berg. I thought that with all the festivities and music happening at the school this weekend that we would have a brief version of the Take Note for your information.
The second term has now got under way after a very pleasant, but politically eventful Easter holiday. I trust that you all enjoyed the time with your son(s) and are looking forward to another busy term in the mountains.
